Dr. Konstantinos (Dinos) Kountouras is a Lecturer in the Department of Operative Dentistry in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He qualified from the University of Liverpool in England in 1991. He has received his Master of Science in Prosthodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London in 1995. He was awarded the Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the department of Implant Dentistry of New York University, USA in 1997. He received his PhD in Biomaterials from the University of London in England in 2000 for his research work on bonded composite resin systems. He is an affiliate member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and also a graduate of the Dawson Academy UK. He is the founding and Honorary President of the Hellenic Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. His private clinical practice has a special emphasis in complete aesthetic and functional rehabilitations and smile design makeovers. He has been publishing and lecturing to international conferences and continuing education training programs in the fields of Minimal Invasive Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry.
